If the sight of tailing permit or rolling tarpon gets your blood going, please come join Captain Garner on his Dolphin Super Skiff in the pursuit of these elusive species. The Dolphin Super Skiff has been a staple of Florida Keys flats fishing for decades and Captain Garner’s is powered by a 70 HP 4 stroke Yamaha and outfitted with top of the line fly and spin gear. The dolphin has ample room to accommodate up to two anglers and a cooler for your food and drinks. Anglers will need to provide their own lunch and other refreshments but bottled water will be provided. Anglers are more than welcome to bring their own fly or spin gear but this is not a requirement. The fly arsenal provided includes G Loomis, Sage, and Hardy Proaxis 1 piece fly rods outfitted by Abel and Tibor Reels. I am a big proponent of stealth and all fly lines provided are either all clear floating or clear tip floating Airflo and Monic fly lines. Spin fisherman have access to custom Key Largo rods outfitted with Fin-Nor reels. All bait and other tackle will be provided as well. You are more than welcome to bring your own flies if but this not necessary as hand tied flies are provided to cover any situation we may encounter. Anglers are encouraged to bring a hat, buff, and a good pair of polarized sunglasses. Good glasses are essential to your success as a flats angler and brown or green mirror are my top choices.
There are no set specific start or end times for charters as conditions and tides will dictate times.
Conditions may dictate a split day in which anglers fish early for a couple hours then return in the afternoon to complete the charter.
The fishing start times may vary depending on weather.
